In this article we’ll be speculating about the different iPhone 7 color variants that should be made available after the launch of the device in 2016. Apple usually releases a set of different colors for their iPhone releases and they are unfortunately somewhat limited. Find out what could, and should be the new color options of both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which should both announced during the summer of 2017.
Serious iPhone 7 Color Variants
Usually each year Apple releases a set of ‘serious iPhone 7 color variants’ and these include a range of metallic colors. Usually these colors include a space grey, a silver and a gold color. Sometimes we’ll also see a full black or full white color.
Below we’ve listed all of the different color variants that could fit under this category – we’d expect there to be a combination of three of these available at launch for the iPhone 7. Unfortunately it’s unlikely that Apple will release all five color variants. The most likely available color variants would be the space grey, silver and gold iPhones.
- White – Fully white, like a blank A4 sheet of paper.
- Black – Fully black, like charcoal.
- Space Grey – A slightly lighter variant of the black color.
- Silver – Take space grey and give it a lighter hue and you’ll have silver. A slightly metallic tone to it.
- Gold – This is the brightest of the five colors. More of a rose gold hue as opposed to full gold.
Bright iPhone 7 Color Variants
In the past, Apple released a variety of brightly colored iPhone models under the iPhone 5C lineup. These were much brighter than previous iPhones and included a selection of bright red, bright blue, bright green and bright yellow variants. It’s unlikely that Apple will offer this for the iPhone 7, but if an iPhone 7C was launched, these colors would be made available. Another possibility is that these colors could be available for the rumored iPhone 7 Mini.
So far there’s no confirmation that either the iPhone 7C or the iPhone 7 Mini will be made, but it is a possibility.
