Two new Apple mobile devices are set to launch in 2016 which will prove once again that Apple Inc is the most innovative tech manufacturer. Early rumors on both the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 are already setting up for a huge 2016 for the #1 retailer in mobile devices, and what we’re hearing already will truly impress you. The newest iPhone is expected to continue doing what Apple has done for so many years, but all eyes are on the follow-up to the original Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch first debuted during the summer of last year, but only became available to consumers just months ago. Most would say Apple sort of missed the mark with the 1st rendition of a smartwatch with huge consumer expectations on something that was truly unique. We’ve come to expect Apple to raise the bar, but unfortunately the Apple Watch never lived up to the expectations.
Rumors on the 2016 launch of Apple’s iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 have been pretty consistent. Apple has yet to make anything official, but their consistent launch cycle of mobile devices leads us to believe we’ll see both during Q2 and Q3 of next year. The Apple Watch 2 launch is expected to become official as early as this year, but we’re not expecting it to become available for consumer purchase until June of 2016.
We’ll have to wait a bit longer for the iPhone 7 launch which isn’t expected to be made official until September of 2016. Preorders and the actual release date won’t be until the end of the month, and those looking to get both for 1 great price may just be in luck.
If purchased separately, the Apple Watch 2 price will likely set you back about $350 in the US and the iPhone 7 price is likely to start at $850. We’re hearing rumors on the bundle that will give you both for a low price of only $1000, and if true, will be nearly $200 off when purchased together.
Apple will be looking to market both heavily, especially the 2nd generation Apple Watch which looks to be slightly smaller, but so much bigger when it comes to features. The Apple Watch 2 features are rumored to include larger battery, 4G LTE connectivity, front-facing video camera, thinner screen, and will be featured on the upcoming watchOS 2. There isn’t expected to be much of a difference in the overall design other than some speculation on a circular Apple Watch 2 model.
We’ll continue to update you on both the 2016 Apple iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 launch worldwide which may start as early as June.
